Biography
I am a seasoned general surgeon with expertise in liver transplantation for both adult and pediatric patients, as well as the comprehensive management of various conditions affecting the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, stomach and spleen, including cancer. My primary focus centres on the treatment of primary and secondary upper gastrointestinal tract cancers, where I collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of radiologists, oncologists and gastroenterologists in both public and private healthcare settings.

Over the course of my career, I have developed proficiency in a range of surgical techniques, encompassing open and minimally invasive procedures, along with thermal ablation methods. Moreover, I am well-versed in evaluating and managing patients for liver-directed therapies, employing techniques such as selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) and the use of chemotherapy-loaded beads. To further expand my capabilities, I have obtained accreditation in the da Vinci Surgical System, enabling me to conduct minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgeries.

My professional philosophy places a strong emphasis on continuous education and training. I am unwavering in my commitment to refining my practice and honing my skills, always striving to integrate the latest medical and surgical advancements into patient care. With a rich background that includes training and work at esteemed institutions like King’s College in London, Centre Hepato-Biliaire Paul-Brousse in Paris, Leuven Hospital in Belgium, The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA, The National Children’s Hospital in Tokyo, Japan and Instit Mutualiste Montsouris in Pari (under the guidance of Professor Soubrane), I bring a diverse range of expertise to my practice.

My dedication to advancing the field extends to my active participation in national and international conferences and relevant courses. These engagements allow me to stay at the forefront of delivering up-to-date care, assessments and techniques, ensuring that I provide the highest quality of medical and surgical services to patients with diverse needs.
